With Airsoft, there probably won't be any organized events in your are and your team will probably need to host their own event. Paintball wins this category in a landslide victory.

Pain: If your goal is to impose as much pain as possible, Paintball is your best bet. Even though paintball guns have a lower fps, but the paintball has a larger outside are transferring more vigor on impact. In other words, it stings like crazy. Unless you have an airsoft gun with 400 Fps or over, you want a paintball gun. someone else win for paintball.

My guns are spotless internally, and my guns shoot EXTREMELY accurate on the field, with no broken paintballs, ever You don't need aftermarket regs and crazy poppet upgrades or boards to make your gun more accurate. Stick with the basics, you'll be surprised what a little attention to your gun will do on the field. 1 drop of paint in your gun = Zero accuracy Enjoy!

What is Paintball?

Paintball has come to be a beloved game in the past several years. Although it is primarily targeted for teens and young adults, there are people of all ages who enjoy paintballing. Paintball guns are essentially guns that shoot out pellets of paint that splatter upon contact. Getting hit by a paintball can be slightly painful, but many think this adds to the fun of the game.

The Basics

Paintball

The rules for paintball vary depending on who is playing. The game is most often played in teams, with the original goal being to eliminate the other team. This is done by shooting each personel with a paintball gun while trying to avoid being hit by person else.

Paintball can be played indoors or outdoors. Sometimes the terrain is natural and sometimes it is man-made. Paintball can be played in an enclosed area, although it is often played out in the woods. The woods gives a more realistic atmosphere and ground cover. Landing after taking a dive to avoid being hit is not as painful on the ground as it is on thinly carpeted concrete. There are indoor and outdoor paintball venues. Many of these have obstacles and paintball bunkers, adding to the excitement of the game.

Equipment

There are only a few pieces of tool needed to play paintball. A paintball gun, also called a paintball marker, is the original piece of equipment. Paintball guns come with attached loaders and a compressed gas bottle used as a propellant. Paintballs are the ammunition. They are small beads made primarily from polyethylene glycol and dye. When playing paintball it is prominent to wear a mask protecting the face. Paintball venues require these, but individuals can buy them as well if they intend to play paintball at home.

League Play

Paintball is primarily played for enjoyment or free time from daily life; however, there are pro leagues that those who take paintball seriously can join. Paintball is played different in leagues. The surfaces are flat and there is usually a smaller area to play in. This allows judges and spectators to see what is going on. The games are much shorter and more intense because there are not as many places to hide.

Safety

Some may think of paintball as a perilous sport, but it is surely one of the safest. This is mostly due to the fact that it is not a sense sport. The worst injuries in paintball are due to not using proper safety equipment. It is crucial to wear a safety mask while playing paintball to avoid injuries to the eyes. Most paintball venues have age restrictions and do not allow young children to play.

Most people who play paintball do it for fun. Many video-gamers also enjoy playing with paintball guns as a way to act out their games in real life. For most, it is plainly an escape from the daily humdrum and a way to have fun.

This show is some tips for walking the trigger. I assume the people who are most interested in walking the trigger, are playing semi auto. The first thing you have to do is find a gun that is designed for semi auto play. Without a doubt, the best semi auto trigger in paintball is one where the pivot is behind the trigger, not in front of it. Any Bob Long gun, Dye Ultralite Frames, Infinity Legend, FEP Quest, all make great triggers for semi auto play. The biggest issue I see with people trying to walk the trigger is they hold the trigger down with the first finger, when they tap it with the second trigger. This causes missed trigger pulls. My suggestion, and how I pull the trigger, is by sticking my fingers all the way into the guard, and using the area behind the 1st knuckles. Then, hit the trigger guard with your fingernails or back of your fingers, this way you purposely come off the trigger before the next pull. It just takes practice, but walking the trigger is easy and you'll pick it up in no time!

One of the most dangerous things a paintball player can do is removing his/her goggles during a game or at anytime he/she is not in a designated safe zone. It may seem like tasteless sense not to remove your eye protection while playing but many players do this because their lens has "fogged up" and they cannot see. Lenses can develop fog due to heat/moisture/sweat from your body.

A single-pane lens is notorious for developing fog, whereas a dual-pane or thermal lens is much less likely to develop fog much the same way the windows in your house do not develop fog. With a dual-pane (thermal) lens there are unmistakably two lenses separated and sealed by a wall to trap air in between. This develop is nearly fog unyielding and typically the best and safest option when choosing a paintball mask.

Note that it may be very dangerous to turn your velocity up too high. You could cause serious injury to yourself and/or other players and it may cause your paintball gun to not function properly or offer decreased accuracy and even break the paintballs inside the barrel.

Yet an additional one over-looked area of paintball gun protection is the barrel plug or barrel sock. These are devices that are designed to cover or block the end of the paintball gun barrel to prevent a paintball from exiting the barrel if the trigger is accidentally pulled. Today paintball is a favorite sport which has spread all over the world and become a truly global leisure activity. Its evolution into the modern game has taken place very fast compared to most sports. The paintball gun has its origins back in the early 1970s when James Hale of Daisy manufacturing invented and patented a gun to be used for marking trees and livestock. The principle creators of this game were Bob Gurnsey, a sporting goods retailer, Hayes Noel, a stockbroker and Charles Gaines, a writer and it's widely proper that the first ever recreational game took place on 27th June 1981 in New Hampshire, Usa, when 12 friends used these Nel-spot 007s pistols to play a primitive version of 'capture the flag' in a field measuring over 100 acres. The first outdoor market paintball field opened in 1982 in Rochester N.Y. By Caleb Strong and the same man opened the indoor version in 1984 in Buffalo N.Y. Paintball - There Are Advantages and Disadvantages of Co2 Vs Hpa

Here's a list of some advantages and disadvantages of using Co2 or Hpa (High Pressure Air) on your paintball marker. Hpa can refer to both Compressed Air or N2 (Nitrogen).

Advantages Co2
-Cheapest propellant source and normally the most available.
-Co2 takes up less room, as most of the Co2 is stored as liquid and it change gas (pressure) with ambient heat. (More shots per tank).
-Co2 tanks are cheaper to purchase.
-Smaller Co2 tanks are exempt from Hydrotesting, but do expire after 15 years.

Paintball

Disadvantages Co2
-Limited ambient heat (under 5oC), will not change enough liquid to gas for most markers.
-Not all markers work on Co2 anymore, especially higher rates of fire semis.
-Tanks can over pressurize (with higher temperatures) and blow out rupture disks.
-Tanks can growth their pressure with high ambient temperatures, to over 1,300 p.s.i. (normally -800-1,000 p.s.i.), which will cause unregulated markers to shoot too fast for safety.
-Unless you take off the tank and weigh it, you don't know how much Co2 is left in the tank.

Advantages Hpa
-Hpa refers to Compressed Air or Nitrogen gas up to 4,500 p.s.i.
-Under our (Canada) temperatures, it's a more garage source of propellant. Which means that the velocity is garage for most of the day.
-Can be used to play "Winter" paintball outside, we play down to -15oC, but markers seem to work -at colder temperatures. (However, batteries don't work well at these temperatures.)
-You don't frost the markers seals or o-rings with every shot.
-Easy fills, normally without removing the tank from the marker.
-Works on all markers, but might need special outputs (high or low) for some.
-Safer source ordinarily than Co2. (Could do a whole article on this alone).
-Full 4,500 p.s.i. Fills are not offered everywhere, and sometimes not even 3,000 p.s.i. Fills, which limit your shots per tanks.
-Gauge on tank lets you see how much pressure you have left.

Disadvantages Hpa
-Higher pressures than Co2.
-Sometimes not as ready as Co2.
-Potentially higher cost to use per shot.
-Tanks must be hydrotested every 3-5 years (generally) , and expire after 15 years, or so many Hrydotests.
-Fiber wrapped tanks can have their fibers damaged, and then are unsafe to fill, and will Not pass Hyrdotesting. These all should be used with a protective cover over the fibers.
-Oil or petroleum based products can flash under Hpa pressures (3,000 p.s.i. +) and explode, so none of these products can be used to fix fill nipples that leak, air lines, etc. Leaking fill nipples should be replaced.
-Fill nipples should be covered and protected against debris.

There are over half a dozen kinds of ways to play paintball. Woodsball, Tournament or Tourneyball, Scenario Paintball, and Speedball, which can be broken down into a couple of sub-categories: Airball and Hyperball.

·Woodsball:

Paintball

Woodsball is the former formula of playing paintball and is ordinarily played in a forest or wooded area that is large adequate to allow room for dozens of players. In this form of paintball, players tend to stalk their opponents, and the game takes more time altogether.

Accuracy is key when you are playing paintball woodsball style. Stealth is an issue in this version of the game. The paintball players will do all they can to keep their locations unknown. Paintball markers are very loud when fired, and can possibly recap a player's location. So many woodsballers will try to buy quiet markers so that there is less occasion of giving away their position to opponents when they fire.

Woodsball players also fire less, because it is harder to know where the other players are--and therefore these paintballers do not waste as much ammo. Of course, when you fire less often and your targets are more hidden, a player requires more patience and best aim than those who fire rapidly.

Many dissimilar versions of woodsball have emerged: such as center flag, capture the flag, total elimination, safe the president, hopperball, 21, civil war, and the list goes on and on, woodsball players can verily design their own game and practice design their own objectives.

·Speedball:

Speedball, as the name of the game would indicate, is a much faster kind of paintball. Speedball is played in close quarters. The size of a speedball field is roughly the size of a large basketball court. Bunkers, which are often inflatable rafting material, plastic tubing, wood pallets or tires, are located all over the field--players use the bunkers to help them maneuver and most importantly, to take cover. The bunkers are located symmetrically, so that neither side has more of an benefit than the other.

The paintball players shoot more rapidly and possibly at closer range in speedball than in woodsball, shooting way more paint this way. Most paintball tournaments and competitions are built nearby the speedball concept. Thus, leagues will practice this style of paintballing, as opposed to other methods.

Scenario paintball may possibly prove to be a challenge to orchestrate, but once you get going it is a game you can verily enjoy--you get lost in the fantasy and with scenario paintball, players can enjoy the most imaginative aspect of the sport.

All Star Paintball Tournament - Who is the Best Paintball Player in the World?

How cool would it be to have a paintball tournament with the best paintball players in the world? Well that may be what is advent our way because it has been rumored in assorted paintball circles that an all star paintball tournament may come to be a reality sometime soon. Nope, there have not been any contracts written yet, but citizen are talking, and we like that!

Other sports have all star games, so why can't paintball. The popularity of our sport has been growing rampant the last decade, and paintball de facto has the fan base to withhold an all star competition.

Who would we want to see?

Among others, I would de facto like to see these paintball professionals invited. All of these paintball professionals have created a name for themselves in the paintball world, and would draw a huge whole of spectators. Oliver Lang alone is enough to get an event broadcasted to the masses.

What would we want to see?

Sure, paintball matches are normally team based, which is incredibly cool, but for this type of event, fans would query some solo action. How else could we accurately rule which paintball player is the best in the world? Team games only lead to guessing..... Some might say that we could find out who the best player is plainly by which player dominates the most in the team match. But I am more skeptical, because a player could win a lot of success plainly by being set up by your opponents. Us paintball players know that paintball is as much about setting up a kill, as it is finishing the deal, and you de facto should not only reward the finisher.

So maybe a ten way elimination match, everybody for themselves? It de facto should be up to the paintball community because they are the ones who are going to enjoy this match the most.

How Likely is this all star match?

Pretty darn likely.... The fact that major citizen from the Psp are talking about this, is a major step in the right direction. The only thing that stands in the way of getting this event together is the inability to get the best paintball players in the world together. But honestly, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, who would refuse such an invitation?

Unless of procedure a player was scared of being embarrassed, but I mean, how likely is that? These players are the best in the world for a reason, and I doubt any of them lack any courage.

I'm sure Alex Fraige would lick his chops at the opening to be pronounced the best player in the world. After all, Oliver Lang has been thought about the whole one player for awhile, but Lang has never faced off mono a mono against Alex Fraige.

Who would win?

Your guess is as good as mine.... Most citizen would probably guess Oliver Lang, but I have a good feeling about Rusty Glaze. The point is, any of these paintball bad boys could win. And because we always watch team competitions, we are unable to know who is the best paintball player in the world. This would be the event to rule it once and for all!
